The Fairfax County Police Department released a list of 86 criminal incidents reported in the Annandale and Mason district between October 29 and November 4. The data covers a wide range of offenses, from minor thefts to aggravated assaults, across seven distinct geographic areas.

Assaults and shoplifting constituted the largest share of the reported activity. Police logged 22 assault incidents during the period, including several aggravated assaults involving strangulation or weapons. Shoplifting complaints numbered 18, with a notable cluster occurring along Little River Turnpike in Annandale.

Little River Turnpike stood out as a frequent location for criminal reports. The 7400 block in Annandale appeared in the log seven times, encompassing shoplifting, destruction of private property, and drunk in public incidents. The 6200 block in Lincolnia and the 7000 block in Annandale also saw multiple reports of theft and assault.

Bailey's Crossroads recorded 26 incidents over the six days. These included two aggravated assaults by strangulation, one of which occurred at the Inova Fairfax Hospital on Gallows Road on November 1. The area also saw repeated reports of destruction of private property and disorderly conduct on Spring Lane and S. George Mason Drive.

Auto thefts and drug possession were less common but persisted throughout the week. Police reported five auto thefts, with locations ranging from Americana Drive in Annandale to Leesburg Pike in Bailey's Crossroads. Drug possession charges were filed in four instances, involving opium, cocaine, and unspecified substances on Glen Carlyn Drive and Annandale Road.

The period included three incidents classified as obstruction of justice or assault on a law enforcement officer. All three occurred in the 6400 block of Wingate Street in Lincolnia on November 1. That same day, police also reported a weapon incident where a missile was shot or thrown into a building at the same address.

Commercial robbery was reported once, on October 30 at the 7400 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale. Two burglary or breaking and entering incidents occurred on November 2 and November 4, both in Bailey's Crossroads. A fraud case involving false pretenses was reported on Walton Lane in Annandale on November 2.

The data ends on November 4 with a pair of incidents on the 3400 block of Carlyn Hill Drive in Bailey's Crossroads. Police reported both a burglary and destruction of private property at that location, concluding the six-day reporting window for the district.
