Connor Davis has recorded four points in his first five collegiate matches for the University of North Dakota. The freshman forward is currently based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and previously attended a private school in Montreal, Quebec.

Davis, who hails from Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, stated that he was fluent in both English and French before joining the program. He noted that while many players in his region pursue junior hockey leagues, his parents prioritized academic preparation. This focus led him to prep school, which opened the door to college recruiting. He described receiving an inquiry from North Dakota last year as a long-held goal realized.

His introduction to the sport began through family influence. His father and paternal grandfather were supporters of the Boston Bruins. Davis began playing hockey to learn how to skate, following the example of his older brother who had already tried the sport. He later maintained his physical conditioning during summers by playing house league soccer and golf, as he did not participate in summer hockey camps.

Davis cites Clayton Keller as his primary inspiration, having watched Keller play at the NTDP and Boston University. He has modeled elements of his own game after Keller's style. Off the ice, Davis describes himself as a basic player who takes naps between 15 and 30 minutes before games. He has no elaborate pregame rituals beyond this short rest period.

The player identified a goal scored at UND as his most memorable achievement. He recalled watching the arena on television and expressing a desire to play there, making the moment particularly satisfying. Davis also noted a competitive drive in the kitchen, where he cooks for his family and attempts to create dishes superior to those of his parents. His family regularly prepares Jamaican dishes such as ackee and saltfish and jerk chicken.

In Grand Forks, Davis has established a routine that includes dining at Harry's, a restaurant he visited with his billet family last weekend. He also engaged in karaoke with two teammates last year, performing the song All The Small Things by Blink 182. Davis plans to travel to Greece in the future, a destination where friends have family connections.
