Sara Manson is bringing a new format to downtown Sioux Falls this Halloween. On Friday, October 30, she will host an event that blends stand-up comedy with live cabaret performances. The show will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Clubb 224, located inside Lucky’s downtown.
Manson described the event as the first time she has integrated cabaret into her comedy showcase. Jacob Womack will serve as the host. A DJ named Jocelyn will provide music for the performers, who will deliver Halloween-themed acts. Manson said the combination creates a fun environment for attendees.
The lineup includes local talent. Adam Goodge, who was named Sioux Falls’ Funniest Comedian of the Year last year, will open the show. Manson will headline as the final act. All performers will wear costumes during their sets. Goodge expressed excitement about using his personal costume collection, noting he has too many stored at home.
A costume contest will run alongside the performances. Participants can win cash prizes for their outfits. Goodge said his primary goal is to make people laugh, a task he enjoys more than anything else. He looks forward to breaking out his costumes as often as possible.
The event is scheduled for the evening of Friday, October 30. It is a three-hour program designed to celebrate Halloween with local artists. Tickets are available for purchase. The gathering aims to provide a varied night of entertainment for the downtown crowd.
