Massimiliano Allegri stands at a crossroads this weekend as Napoli hosts Lazio on Sunday morning. The match at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona could determine whether the Italian manager keeps his job after a difficult start to the season. Napoli has collected 14 points from its first 10 league games, placing the team in eighth place. The squad has lost four times, including a recent defeat on the road to Juventus.

Criticism intensified after Napoli lost 4-1 to Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday. That loss added pressure ahead of the international break, a period when clubs frequently replace head coaches. Allegri needs a win against Lazio to stabilize his position. The Azzurri have not won enough games to justify their status as a top-tier side this year.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan hosts Como at San Siro on Sunday. Inter enters the game after a mixed week. The team lost 3-1 to AC Milan last weekend, a result that exposed defensive weaknesses. However, Inter bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Champions League on Wednesday. Manager Cristian Chivu needs a strong performance to remind rivals that Inter remains a dominant force in the league.

Como presents a difficult test for Inter. The visitors are in strong form after a 9-1 win against Lens on Wednesday. That result was one of the highest-scoring performances by an Italian club in recent Champions League history. Como currently sits fourth in the league phase standings, behind only Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Frosinone offers another interesting case study in the league standings. The team travels to Cagliari on Saturday. Coach Massimiliano Alvini has guided Frosinone to sixth place. The squad has won six games, drawn two, and lost two in its first 10 matches. Frosinone holds six more points than Napoli, highlighting the disparity in performance between the two clubs.

The Matchday 11 slate begins on Friday, November 6, with Venezia playing Udinese at 2:45 p.m. Four matches are scheduled for Saturday, November 7. Torino faces Lecce at 9 a.m., Cagliari hosts Frosinone at 9 a.m., Parma plays Bologna at 12 p.m., and AS Roma takes on Sassuolo at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, November 8, features the remaining games. Napoli plays Lazio at 6:30 a.m., while Inter hosts Como at 12 p.m. Fiorentina closes the round against Juventus at 2:45 p.m. All games are available on Paramount+.
